Business Day Tuesday August 10, 2010 8:30am - 1pm Social Hall
This event is required of all parents and/or guardians. The main purpose os to finalize all financial matters, In an attempt to streamline the check writing, we only require 3 checks from parents on this day. All school purchases can be paid with one check or either a debit or cred card (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover). Milk fees must be paid separately in the form of cash or check and Before/Aftercare registration must be paid separately in the same fashion.
Upon your arrival on Business Day you will be given a checklist which will serve as a guide for this experience. Our PTO officers organize this event and will be on hand to assist you. You may arrive at any time between 8:30am and 1:00pm to attend to beginning of the year transactions.
All Faculty and Staff of St Ann Catholic School will be on campus during Business Day. Please take a few minutes to visit your child's classroom and meet the teacher.
OTHER BUSINESS DAY OBLIGATIONS INCLUDE:
- Joining PTO ($20 per family) - We urge you to become active in this organization which is the backbone of our community. Mrs Melissa Silva is President.
- Supplying Emergency Information - Please bring numbers and addresses for this purpose.
- Paying for milk (optional) - Parents may pay for the full year or a half year ($62 or $31).
- Registering for Before/Aftercare (required) - While all families may not use the service regularly, we require this to offset emergencies. If a family never uses the service during the year, the $50 registration fee will be reimbursed at the close of the school year.
- Volunteer - Each family is required to provide 10 hours of service per year. WE DEPEND ON YOU!! Parents who opt not to volunteer service will be assessed an annual fee of $100 per school year. You will have the opportunity to commit on Business Day.
